The One

The One – cutting-edge building automation from the SAUTER Cloud

The One – Nuremberg’s newest business address – symbolises state-of-the-art building management. Smart solutions from SAUTER ensure highly efficient, convenient and future-proof operation – impressively demonstrating the capabilities of digital cloud services.

 

 

The One is a new business address in Nuremberg, one of the most powerful cities in the Bavarian economy. The distinctive office tower in the north of city, created by S&P Commercial Development, offers around 10,000 m² of office and commercial space across 12 floors. The new business centre in the Thon district is taking shape with maximum focus on the future. State-of-the-art office spaces and conference rooms offer everything today’s businesses need. Restaurants and cafés cater for every taste, while the spacious, landscaped district square is an inviting place to relax. What makes The One so special is its focus on innovative efficiency and maximum user comfort, reflected in building technology that combines smart and fully cloud-based digital services from SAUTER.

 

The solution

Comprehensive energy and building management are provided by SAUTER Vision Services. The cloud-based system centrally connects and controls all the data recorded in the building. At its core is the modular automation system modulo 6. Taking up minimal space, it reliably handles large data volumes and transmits them securely to the cloud using encrypted BACnet/SC communication. Operators do not have to be on site for comprehensive access to data: SAUTER Remote Management provides convenient, real-time access to all building data from any location. The data is consolidated and clearly visualised in the Customer Portal, a cloud-based central information platform. This gives building managers a constant overview for making informed decisions.

 

 

 

Building users also benefit from maximum ease of use. Mobile Building Services – another solution from the SAUTER Cloud – and the Mobile Room Control app allow room control from a personal smartphone, making it simpler and more intuitive than ever before. The concept also features the innovative SAUTER Smart Sensor viaSens multi-sensors, which ensure constantly optimal room conditions. They are easy to integrate in the building automation system via a wireless Bluetooth mesh network and a sensor gateway. The sensor accurately measure and detect ambient factors such as temperature, humidity and movement and use a multicoloured LED ring to visually indicate room quality. Built-in Bluetooth beacons provide the Mobile Room Control app with precise location information for room-specific operation.

SAUTER digital services offer numerous advantages for both operators and users. Smart solutions enable efficient and user-friendly building management with maximum future orientation. With a concept based on cloud operation, there is no need for dedicated hardware. In addition, new features and upgrades are always available through a subscription model, without needing complex installation.   • SAUTER Vision Services provide powerful cloud-based modules for energy monitoring, building management, energy management and analytics. With a centralised cloud setup, the latest features and upgrades are always available for all building and energy management applications, without needing complex installation or migration. TLS encryption ensures reliable and secure data transmission at all times.

 

  • SAUTER Mobile Building Services is a smart cloud-based solution for modern building management. Combined with the Mobile Room Control app for smartphones and tablets, it enables users to conveniently control lighting, air conditioning and blinds, book rooms and workspaces, invite guests and find their way around using indoor navigation.

 

  • Services such as repairs or catering can also be requested directly from the app – conveniently, securely and on the go. SAUTER Remote Management is a digital cloud service for direct access to decentralised systems and applications – anytime, anywhere. It enables faster troubleshooting and streamlines commissioning, maintenance, monitoring and other services.

 

  • Updates and customisations to applications can also be carried out easily and securely from remote locations. SAUTER Customer Portal is a central cloud-based platform for building data and services. It gives asset and service managers access to consolidated building information, system status updates and contact data. Individually configurable dashboards with KPI and timeline widgets display metrics, maintenance schedules and documents. Connected to SAUTER Remote Management, detailed information and settings are available from anywhere – for efficient operation and improved service.
