The SAUTER Application Store offers a new, fully digital workflow for planners, installers, and operators of heating, ventilation and unitary control systems, enabling them to commission state-of-the-art systems without any programming, thus significantly reducing project timelines. As a central, cloud-based distribution platform, it provides pre-programmed control applications for the SAUTER Smart Actuator System, making the shift from traditional parametrisation to convenient app-based installation.
The idea behind the SAUTER Application Store
The SAUTER Application Store (SAS) is a digital distribution platform designed specifically for applications used with the SAUTER Smart Actuator System. Users simply select an appropriate, preconfigured application for typical tasks such as controlling a heating circuit, ventilation systems or individual rooms. Instead of having to program regulation themselves, the required solution is transferred directly to the Smart Actuator via the smartphone app. This reduces engineering effort, minimises the risk of errors and ensures reproducible, standard-compliant implementation of control strategies.
Structure: web portal and smartphone app integration
The SAUTER Application Store consists of three functional components that work together seamlessly:
- A web portal provides convenient viewing and browsing of applications via a web browser.
- An extended search and display section within the smartphone app serves as the front end for day-to-day use on site.
Applications are visible to all users with a valid SAUTER Cloud account and can be loaded into the Smart Actuator smartphone app and installed from there onto the Smart Actuator.
Login to the SAUTER Cloud is handled conveniently via the “My account” section in the smartphone app. Users can either use an existing SAUTER Cloud account or create a new one.
