Sauter:
Mr. Praefke, you are the BMT manager, so you are responsible for building technology at Hamburg- Mannheimer Insurance, a member of the ERGO Insurance Group, which is one of the largest companies in the insurance business.
How important do you think it is for your building technology to save resources as it operates – which also involves energy-optimised operation of your technical installations?
Mr. Praefke, BMT Manager:
"This is a very important aspect for us. Cost-effective operation is essential in view of the constant increase in energy costs, coupled with demanding requirements in terms of air quality, temperature and humidity, etc. for our modern office buildings. The exemplary service provided by Sauter-Cumulus GmbH means that we can successfully combine an excellently conditioned, fatigue-free room climate – which, in turn, has a positive influence on our employees – with energy-saving operation, which is extremely important for us".
Sauter:
How does the operation of ventilation and air-conditioning systems affect olfactory comfort in your buildings?
Mr. Praefke, BMT Manager:
"Continuous and reliable maintenance that meets the highest requirements is the only way to ensure an odour-neutral room climate. To achieve this aim, Sauter places well-trained and highly knowledgeable service staff at our disposal, ensuring that our operation will be hygienic and optimal as regards energy usage. Ultimately, this also guarantees the continued existence of our plant and buildings in the long term".
Sauter:
Mr. Praefke, thank you for this interview.
