The last 25 years have seen a large number of construction and extension projects at Gmunden Provincial Hospital.
The Intensive Care Wing was built between 1983 and 1986.
The 5th storey was built from1988 to 1991.
A new radiology institute was added between 1991 and 1994.
1996 and 1997 were marked by the rebuilding of the Central Medical Gas Unit, the renewal of the safety lighting and the fire detection equipment. Between 1997 and 2000, the physiotherapy wing was built and the technical rooms were expanded, together with the construction of a workshop for medical and low voltage technology. Throughout all these years of developing and adapting the Provincial Hospital to meet the latest technological needs for the benefit of staff and patients, Sauter has been an innovative and reliable partner, energetically supporting us time and again with their specialist expertise.
