EYS 181: nova106, plug-in card EMAX

The EYS181 EMAX function card is part of the EY3600 nova106 family of systems. It is used in conjunction with a nova106 rack to create modular automation stations. The EYS181 EMAX function card enables energy to be managed efficiently. This energy-management function prevents a level of consumption set by the electricity provider from being exceeded over a certain period of time. This is achieved by cutting certain load groups either in or out according to pre-determined criteria. Therefore, the EMAX function provides optimum management of both energy and costs.
