SAUTER opens the first MINERGIE-compliant industrial building in north-west Switzerland

SAUTER will today celebrate the opening of its new building at the company's headquarters in the Surinam district of Basle together with representatives from the worlds of politics and commerce. It is the first new industrial building in north-west Switzerland to carry the MINERGIE quality seal. SAUTER makes use of renewable energy sources to create the energy required by the new building. CO₂ emissions at the company's headquarters have been reduced by more than a half over the last ten years. The efficient use of energy in the new building played a major role in this achievement.
