EYI 103: novaCom, power-supply and UPS card

The EYI 103 novaCom supply and UPS card is part of the EY3600 family of systems. The EYI103 is a function card for the EYU108 and EYU109 racks. Apart from providing all the power supplies, it charges up the back-up accumulator and effects the uninterrupted change-over to battery mode in the event of a sharp voltage drop or a power failure. Similar to a multiplexer/demultiplexer, it also manages the addressing of the EYI288 AS memory cards.
